Ingredients:
- 250g beef, thinly sliced
- 3 cups cooked rice, cooled
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn, etc.)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Salt to taste
Instructions:
- Heat a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil and swirl to coat the surface.
- Add the minced garlic and stir-fry until fragrant.
- Add the thinly sliced beef and stir-fry until it’s no longer pink. Remove the beef from the wok and set it aside.
- In the same wok, add another tablespoon of oil. Pour in the beaten eggs and scramble them until they are just cooked. Remove the scrambled eggs and set them aside.
- Add the mixed vegetables to the wok and stir-fry for a few minutes until they start to soften.
- Push the vegetables to the side of the wok and add the cooked rice. Break up any clumps with a spatula and stir-fry for a few minutes.
- Return the cooked beef and scrambled eggs to the wok. Mix everything together.
- In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and white pepper. Pour this sauce over the rice and stir to combine.
- Taste and adjust the seasoning with salt if needed.
- Continue to stir-fry for a couple of minutes until everything is heated through and well combined.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions.
- Serve hot and enjoy your delicious Beef Fried Rice!
